Have you ever thought about becoming a volunteer and sharing your time and knowledge with others? We are always ready to welcome new volunteers to The Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing at Washington Township. Volunteers are a true blessing to our facility and an integral part of our family. Current opportunities for volunteering include:

Serving as Transportation Aides
Help transport residents in wheelchairs to and from activities for morning, afternoon, and evening events, including weekly Bingo, church services, monthly birthday parties, and evening musical events.

Assistance with Outings
We offers monthly trips into the community for shopping, ice cream, sporting events, and seasonal activities and attractions. Our volunteer/resident ratio is 1:1, so we always welcome volunteers to assist with outings.

Gardening Program
Volunteers are needed to work with the residents in our Gardening Club during the outside months, to plant and maintain the outside gardens, weekly/daily. Hours are flexible.

Staffing Our Weekend Coffee Carts
We offer a mobile coffee cart, featuring coffee, tea, and fresh baked goods. Volunteers transport the cart throughout the facility, visiting and serving residents.

Assistance with Scheduled Activities
Volunteers also help to oversee activities such as Bingo, arts and crafts, birthday parties, games, and evening entertainment and events.
